Snider-Enfield Mk1 3 Band Rifle
Here we have a good .577 calibre Three band Enfield rifle (1861 dated). This piece started life as a muzzle loading P53 rifled musekt, and was subsequently converted to boxer cartridge breech loading using Jacob Snider of New York's MK1 system by BSA & Co.
The rifle is full of British (no Nepalise) proof and military markings, with all the correct and original pieces. Total length is 128cm.
An excellent piece with a lot of Emperial history.
