Lorenzoni 7 shot flintlock Pistol
  • Lorenzoni 7 shot flintlock Pistol

For sale, an incredibly rare and unusual 7 shot flintlock pistol based on the design by Michele Lorenzoni of Florence, Italy.

The pistol houses seven .40 calibre balls and powder within two apetures in it's grip. When the cocking lever is actioned, a revolving drum collects and distributes a powder charge and ball into the barrel's breech, whilst also priming the pan and cocking the hammer/closing the frizzen. Total length is 39cm, barrellength is 22cm.

This pistol is of an extrodinary design and age, with all components working faultlessly. Believed to be one of only 23 known to exist, this piece will not be found in your average collection. An excellent and unusual investment piece that you likely won't see again.
