English boxlock Pistol

A nice English .45 calibre percussion turn off 'Muff' type pistol. This piece is beautifully made, with fince engraving on a brass body, with an octagoinal barrel of dark patina. The barrel unscrews to facilitate loading of powder and ball. The action holds half and full cock beautifully, with a self fold out trigger and good nipple. The dark walnut grips are split free, with nice checkering. Total length is 19cm, with a 7.5cm barrel.
