10 bore Smith M/L Shotgun
A very nice 10 bore muzzle loading percussion shotgun by Smith of Birmingham.
The 31 inch barrels are of a twist construction, with pretty etched browning over the top. The piece has it's original brass tipped ram-rod, and also houses an unusual patch box in the butt stock.
The metalwork is engraved, brightly posilished, with good half and full cock on both hammers.
